Squid Help Bot - Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Squid Help Bot (the "Bot"), a Discord application developed, maintained, and hosted by OurPXI Studios, based in Costa Rica. By inviting, interacting with, or otherwise using the Bot, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

> Scope note: These Terms govern only the Squid Help Bot Discord application. They are entirely separate from, and unrelated to, the terms of service of Discord Inc. (discord.com) or SquidServers.com. Your use of Discord and SquidServers.com remains subject to their own respective terms.

1. General Information & Jurisdiction

  • • The Bot is developed, maintained, and hosted by OurPXI Studios in Costa Rica.

  • • These Terms are governed by Costa Rican law, including Ley N.º 8968 regarding the protection of personal data.

2. Acceptable Use

By using the Bot, you agree that you will not:

  • • Spam commands or otherwise abuse the Bot's functionality

  • • Attempt to break, disrupt, or interfere with the Bot's operation

  • • Attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, bugs, or security weaknesses in the Bot


3. Access, Suspension & Termination

OurPXI Studios reserves the right to terminate or revoke access to the Bot for any user or server, at any time, without prior notice and without providing a reason.

3.1 Automod Exception

Even where a user's access to the Bot has been revoked, that user's messages may still be processed silently by the Bot for the purposes of automated moderation and general server safety. This exception exists to preserve server security and integrity regardless of individual access status.

4. Disclaimer of Liability

The Bot is provided strictly "as-is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

  • • OurPXI Studios is not responsible for any false positives or false negatives generated by the Bot's moderation or classification systems.

  • • OurPXI Studios is not responsible for any data loss.

  • • OurPXI Studios is not responsible for any actions taken by the Bot, whether automated or otherwise.

  • • OurPXI Studios is not responsible for how Discord Inc. handles, stores, or processes data on its own platform.


5. Data Handling

Use of the Bot is also subject to our separate Privacy Policy, which describes in detail what data is (and is not) collected, how it is processed, and your rights regarding that data under Costa Rican law.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in functionality, legal requirements, or operational practices. Continued use of the Bot after any such changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
