Ourpxi TempMail - Privacy Policy

1. Who Runs This Service

Ourpxi TempMail is developed, maintained, and hosted by Ourpxi Studios, based in the Republic of Costa Rica.

The service is available at tempmail.ourpxi.dev.

This service, and this document, are governed by the laws of the republic of Costa Rica, including Law No. 8968 (the Law on the Protection of Individuals Regarding the Processing of Their Personal Data).

2. We Do Not Collect Personal Data

Ourpxi TempMail is built to be completely anonymous. We do not:

  • • Require or create user accounts

  • • Ask for passwords

  • • Ask for your name

  • • Log or store your IP address

  • • Use tracking analytics tied to you as an individual

  • • Sell any data, ever


You can use the service without telling us anything about yourself.

3. What We Temporarily Store

To make the service work, we temporarily store only:

1. A randomly generated mailbox ID, in the format {random string}.tmp.ourpxi.qzz.io, not linked to you personally
2. The content of incoming emails (text and HTML)
3. A temporary browser session cookie, valid for 24 hours, used only to keep your browser connected to your own mailbox

4. Anonymous Usage Counters

  • • A count of how many times an inbox is created

  • • A count of how many times an email is received

  • • A timestamp of when an inbox was created

  • • A timestamp of when an email was received


These counters are not tied to any individual, mailbox, email address, or IP address. We cannot use them to identify who created an inbox or who received a specific email. We do not sell this or any other data.

5. Bot Protection

We use standard anti-bot checks to prevent abuse of the service, such as spam or automated misuse. These checks may briefly verify that a real connection is being made, but they do not log or store your IP address.

6. Automatic, Permanent Deletion

All emails and mailbox data are permanently and irreversibly deleted as soon as either of these happens:

  • • The mailbox reaches its expiration limit, between 1 and 3 hours, or

  • • You manually click "Delete"


Once deleted, there is no way for us, or anyone else, to recover that data.

7. Infrastructure and Cloudflare

Ourpxi TempMail is hosted and served entirely within the Cloudflare Workers platform and the wider Cloudflare ecosystem. Because of this, some data and traffic passes through Cloudflare's infrastructure as a normal part of how the service runs.

Ourpxi Studios is not responsible for how Cloudflare or Cloudflare Workers handles, processes, or stores that data and traffic on their end. Cloudflare operates under its own separate privacy policy and terms, which we do not control.

8. ARCO Rights

Even though Ourpxi TempMail does not store personally identifiable information, you still have rights under Costa Rican data protection law (Law No. 8968), known as ARCO rights:

  • • Access: the right to know what data, if any, we hold

  • • Rectification: the right to correct inaccurate data

  • • Cancellation: the right to have data deleted

  • • Opposition: the right to object to how data is processed

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
