1. General Information and Jurisdiction
TetoBot is developed, maintained, and hosted by Ourpxi Studios, based in the Republic of Costa Rica.
This policy is governed by Costa Rican law, including Ley N. 8968 (Proteccion de la Persona frente al Tratamiento de sus Datos Personales), Costa Rica's data protection law.

2. Data Collection
Why we need access to your data
TetoBot is a moderation tool, which means it needs certain Discord permissions (called "Gateway Intents") to function:
- • Message Content, to scan messages for rule violations
- • Presence, to track member status where relevant to moderation
- • Members, to track joins, roles, and member changes
- • Direct Messages, to support DM-based features like the AI chatbot
What we store permanently
- • Discord User IDs and usernames
- • Guild (server) IDs
- • Join dates
- • Nitro boost status
- • Warn, timeout, ban, and blacklist records
- • Ticket records and invite tracking data
- • "Love card" logs, including images and anonymity metadata
- • Media restriction records
- • Voice channel activity logs
Message logging
- • Deleted messages: stored with full text content and metadata, kept for moderation audit purposes.
- • Ticket transcripts: saved in full text to internal Discord channels for record-keeping.
Important note on identifiability
No data we collect is anonymized. All records are tied directly to your Discord User ID and are retained even after you leave a server that uses TetoBot. Internal moderation and error logs, sent to private staff-only Discord channels, may also contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII) as a byproduct of normal error reporting.
3. Third-Party Data Sharing
We use a small number of trusted third-party services. Here's exactly what gets shared with each:

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with any party not listed here.
Discord platform disclaimer
TetoBot operates as an application built on top of Discord's platform. Discord itself independently collects, stores, and processes data as part of operating its service, in accordance with its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Ourpxi Studios has no control over, responsibility for, or involvement in how Discord handles, stores, or processes data on its platform. Any questions about Discord's own data practices should be directed to Discord Inc. directly.
4. Your Rights and Data Deletion (ARCO Rights)
Under Costa Rican law (Ley N. 8968), you have ARCO rights over your personal data:
- • Acceso (Access): know what data we hold about you
- • Rectificacion (Rectification): correct inaccurate data
- • Cancelacion (Cancellation): request deletion of your data
- • Oposicion (Opposition): object to certain processing of your data
